Simon Pym Williamson is a Certified Financial Planner and a past president of the Institute of Financial Planning. His career in financial services spans nearly forty years, including sixteen years in life and pensions with Standard Life and later much experience advising British expatriates working abroad. He played a key role for a small private bank in the Isle of Man which specialised in investment, trusts and financial planning services for wealthier clients. He also provided similar services for private clients of the Royal Bank of Canada before returning to the Cotswolds ten years ago to set up Broadway Financial Planning Ltd.
